THE KING DAVID THEATRE CLUB
The King David Theatre Club was established in 2021 by Roby Hawes, a now Year 12 student, who decided that there should be more theatre opportunities in King David. After a failed attempt in 2022, the club have now put on two extremely successful pantomimes. "Jack and the Beanstalk" in 2023 and "Beauty and the Beast" in 2024.
The King David Theatre Club is open to any students from Years 7 - 12 who like acting, singing, dancing - or to those who do all three! People of any ability are able to join - we just want you to have fun!
This year we are aiming to put on a new production of a pantomime version of 'Cinderella'. Written by Roby, the show tells the classic story of the girl who loses her shoe at Prince Charming's ball but with some fresh pantomime flavour!
We hope for a strong cast of 25+ students who can sing, dance,
act or do all three!
